In order to keep our conference registration fee at a minimal cost, our association welcomes meal sponsorship by our exhibitors and non-exhibiting businesses. The association encourages sponsorship of the meal functions, which assist the association to enable our members to attend the conference, who might be unable to afford it otherwise. It also enables school systems to send several employees to the conference. GASBO is a 501c3 non-profit association under the Internal Revenue Tax Laws. List below is a cost breakdown for the 2009 meal functions:
LUNCH: $6,000.00 AND UP PER LUNCH
Two lunches are being offered at this conference. One on Wednesday and the other on Thursday.
BREAKFAST: $4,000.00 AND UP PER BREAKFAST
Three breakfasts are being offered at this conference. One on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
BREAK: We will offer three breaks – two on Wednesday and one on Thursday. The cost for One break is approximately $1,500.00. ($3.25 per soft drink which includes 27% gratuity for each soft drink.)
CONCERT: $4,000.00 to sponsor our Thursday evening concert.
SPEAKER: $3,000.00 to sponsor our special speaker for the conference.
If the exhibitor sponsors the full amount Conference, the exhibit fee is waived function to promote his business.
Preferential treatment in assigning exhibit space will be given to one company sponsoring a meal function, our special guest speaker or the Thursday evening concert. Otherwise, exhibit space will be assigned on a first-come first-serve basis in the large exhibit area used for exhibits.
